Book of Shadows
Also called a Grimoire or a Book of Spells, a Book of Shadows is a collection of magickal workings and wisdom. It functions as a witch's journal where s/he may record the principles of the Craft, the correspondences, and various spells and rituals. However, a witch may choose to record just spells and rituals, or keep separate Books, such as one specifically for spells and another for all the rest. Since there's no right or wrong Book of Shadows, it's really up to the individual witch.

C

Correspondences
Also known as associations, correspondences are the qualities that boost magick. Choosing the proper correspondence for a magickal working is usually key to making the spell or ritual work. For example, Friday is associated with Venus, and therefore is the best time for working a love spell.

S

Skyclad
Skyclad is another term for ritual nudity. When performing spells and rituals, some covens and solitaries prefer to work in the buff. Some covens even mandate that their members work skyclad, but usually, it's optional.
