Norse God of Poetry & Eloquence

Parentage:
He's the son of Odinn and Frigg, and brother to Baldr, Heimdallr, and Thor, among others.

Consorts & Children:
His wife is Idun, the goddess of eternal youth whose golden apples make the gods immortal.

Notable Stories Involving Him:
The Cup of Bragi was used to swear oaths, including swearing in a king before he ascended the throne, and to honor a dead king. It's said that his tongue was carved with runes, and that he frequently regales fallen heroes who have entered Valhalla. As god of poetry, he's said to let humans drink from the mead of poetry so as to inspire it in them.
