Heimdallr

Norse God of Light
Guardian of Bifrost Bridge

Parentage:
He's the son of Odinn and no less than nine mothers. Through Odinn, he has numerous brothers, most notable of whom are Baldr, Bragi, and Thor.

Consorts & Children:
He has no known consorts, but it is said that in his form as the god Rig, he fathered mankind.

Notable Stories Involving Him:
He's often described as being the whitest of the gods, with shining teeth of gold. He requires very little sleep, and possesses keen hearing and eyesight that he uses to guard the rainbow bridge known as Bifrost, the only way into Asgard, the realm of the gods. He especially keeps a lookout for giants who would destroy the gods, as their arrival will signal the end of the world, or Ragnarok. When that happens, he'll sound his horn, before killing the trickster god Loki and being killed by him.
