She is the daughter of Zeus and Hera, and sister of Ares, Hephaestus, Eris ("strife"), and Eileithyia, goddess of childbirth.
Notable Stories Involving Her:
In addition to being the goddess of youth, she was also cupbearer to the gods, though after her half-brother Heracles became a full-fledged god, she married him and was replaced as cupbearer by Ganymede, a Trojan prince.
